Our research group focuses on exploring and enhancing various functional properties such as ferroelectricity, charge carrier transport, and photo-induced dynamics in optoelectronic and photovoltaic materials. In particular, we are designing appropriate hybrid perovskite compositions and exploring suitable applications including semiconductors, photovoltaics, optoelectronics, and even sensors. Research interests include hybrid perovskite synthesis and nanoscale properties via scanning probe microscopy (SPM) techniques. Such nanoscale characterizations allow us to explore charge carrier transport, interface, and defect dynamics in hybrid perovskites at the nanoscale. Furthermore, we expect that various advanced characterization techniques will provide deeper insights into improving the performance of advanced materials. Consequently, we aim to develop next-generation optoelectronics and photovoltaics.
